The drama surrounding the assault by Senator Elisha Ishaku Abbo on a woman in Abuja continued on Tuesday with the Senator engaging in an argument with members of the Senate Committee set up to investigate the incident.
In the course of the Senate investigation, Senator Remi Tinubu who is a member of the committee told Abbo that the Senate has the power to suspend him over the sex toy shop assault.
Angered by the Tinubu’s statement, Abbo said, “Don’t threaten me with suspension, I am a senator like you and Remi Tinubu replied ‘Do you realise that I am also another woman? you are just digging a hole for yourself.”
