The presidency has tackled talented singer, Davido for endorsing the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar for the 2019 presidential election.
Davido who posted series of tweets on his official Twitter handle, @iam_Davido to declare his support for political candidates of his choice across different parties, listed Atiku as his preferred presidential candidate.\

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on digital communication, Tolu Ogunlesi has tackled the multi-award winning aritste on some of the said posts that articulated Atiku as a better candidate.
Reacting to Davido’s endorsement of Atiku, Ogunlesi, indirectly took a swipe at the Director General of Atiku’s Campaign, Senator Bukola Saraki, saying he [Saraki] truncated Lagos-Ibadan Expressway – he added that only Buhari/Osinbajo deserves the vote of South/West .
