Popular actor, Daniel Craig after two years has finally confirmed that he will feature in another James Bond Flick . Before now, the actor has been elusive on whether he will return to replay the role.
Recall that in 2015, Craig told a reporter that he would “rather break this glass and slash my wrists” than play James Bond again. The story has changed and Craig has hinted at making a return in different interviews on Tuesday.
During an interview session on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the question was posed at him and he said: “Yes.”
He told Colbert that he has known for a “couple of months” that he will be playing the 007 role again.
“We’ve been discussing it; we’ve just been trying to figure things out. I always wanted to, I needed a break, I just want to go out on a high note, and I can’t wait”.
In another engaging interview on Boston radio show Morning Magic, Craig said, “nothing official has been confirmed. Lest you think Craig is simply stalling as a negotiation tactic. I’m not, like, holding out for more money or doing anything like that. It’s just all very personal decisions to be made at the moment”.
The 25th James Bond film is due for release in November 2019.
