Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has dragged her colleague, Shan George, over an alleged affair with fiery Nigerian cleric, Apostle Johnson Suleman of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide congregation.
Halima’s Instagram war with her fellow actress started on July 25 after an Instagram blogger, Gistlover, accused the movie stars of having an affair with the Apostle.
Reacting to the accusation on Instagram, Shan George denied the affair.
She also described the cleric as one of the kindest and most straightforward persons she knows.
As the 52-year-old actress debunked the alleged affair, Halima stormed the comment section of her post, calling Shan a gossip.
Halima, the mother of one, also warned her senior colleague against provoking her.
After the messy fight, Halima took a break from Instagram for one month only to return on September 18 to resume her war of words with the actress.
The White Hunters star claimed Shan George said she had cancer for four years and later denied her claims. She also threatened war on the actress and Apostle Suleman.
“God bless you all till infinity your care and love is overwhelming.. I will see you soon. God is Good. Pls be careful with friends & co-workers, they love no one I use to call her mami. Why you still ffing me? Thank God I never took anything from you. Shan you said I had cancer 4 years ago, of which you denied and apologize. Did I tell you, I don’t know where my problem is from? You calling me names again. Imagine both of you. Johnson you want war? I will give you war. Try and bring my page down. E go shock you,” she wrote.
Recall that another Nollywood actress, Chioma Ifemeludike, had claimed that she slept with Apostle Suleman twice.
Ms Ifemeludike, the brain behind the YouTube drama series, ‘Corpers Heaven’, further claimed that she was paid on both occasions.
The unassuming actress shared this in a video on her official Instagram page on a Saturday and added that she had no idea that the cleric was prominent at the time they were intimate.
She, however, claimed her colleague, actress, Lynda-Clems Bishop, hooked her up with the controversial pastor.
She said, “Dear @lyndaclems, I have to tell the world about that hookup you arranged between @johnson_suleman_official and myself on the 20th November 2016 in a hotel at Ikeja, the Apostle secretly gave me his number and we had a second meeting at Oriental Hotels Lagos.
“I’m sorry my conscience can’t hold it anymore. I encourage you to tell the truth as a mother and a Christian, to put the devil to shame and save millions of souls from being misled. To my family and friends, I am sorry, don’t judge me. Please pray for me so the light of God will continue to expose every work of darkness in my life and the church of God.”
In the video, the actress said she decided to confess publicly because her spirit continued to torment her. She also said it was because she needed to make restitution for all the sins she committed against her body and the body of Christ.
Ifemeludike’s confession:
‘‘Good morning Nigerians. I have a confession. On the 20th of November 2016, Linda made an arrangement for me to come to Ikeja and that we were going to meet her sister’s friend, and a family friend going to America.
“That was what she told me.
“Okay, so it was supposed to be a hookup. But it wasn’t really exactly put like that. Well, she told me that her family friend wanted to meet someone nice and cool. And that he was going to America that same night and that he wasn’t going to waste much time and he wanted me to meet that person. And I said fine.’’
She said the person in question turned out to be the cleric.
She said anytime she sees Mr Suleman’s sermons online or reads about his escapades on social media, she is tormented. According to her, this was why she was left with no other option than to confess because of her personal salvation with God.
She also said she is making the video because it is restitution for her sins adding that it is her truth.
She said, ”I am making this confession because like every other controversial story about apostle Suleiman there is always a victim. Most times, these victims are scared and oppressed”.
