It was an atmosphere of joy, excitement and reminisces as the Alakoto High School Old Students Association (AHOSA) pioneer set had their reunion party on Saturday 16th December 2017.
It was a day worth remembering as old school mates came together after years of being apart That sunny Saturday evening, the old students gracefully dressed, accompanied by their families thronged the Sapphire Lounge , Alakija Lagos, which was the venue for the reunion
In their amusing solidarity reminiscent of their school days, these Alakoto High School Old Students, applauded and threw jabs at one another, danced like they used to in their school days and recalled old memories of yester years with melancholy.
According to Patrick Momodu, member planning committee of the reunion: “I am excited about today’s event, reuniting after 31 years. Seeing my secondary school classmates is a thing to always behold. I am excited seeing my classmates with their families. I am excited about how far we have gone, succeeding in our careers and for the fact that God has protected us all these years. May his name be praised. The best part of today’s event was the dancing competition that took place amongst every cadre of the families present, from the children to the youths to the mums and dads. Everybody showcased their dancing talent. It is going to be a yearly family get-together” he said.
