Nigerian pop star, Davido is allegedly involved in another controversy weeks after being involved in a new baby mama drama.
According to reports reaching TheNewsGuru, a certain auto dealer Anekwe Chika Valentine allegedly received a dud cheque for the sum of N1.4m as balance for a Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 bought by Davido.
The car dealer has made a move to contact W. K Shittu and Co, a Lagos Law Firm to assist him in the payment of the debt.
According to entertainment lawyer, Iredumare Opeyemi, the Nigerian law holds that issuance of a dud cheque attracts a three-year jail term.
Anekwe in his report said Davido issued him two Zenith Bank cheques of 10m and 1.4m, when he got to the bank to cash the cheques,the bank didn’t honour the letter he came with.
Davido is yet to respond to these allegations.
