Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry who is popularly referred as ‘Igwe’ by his Nigerian fans has now been officially crowned Igwe by a representative of Guinnesss in an event in Lagos on Sunday, December 17. The 40-year-old was dressed in a traditional Igbo regalia with a royal crown placed on his head while the fans cheers ‘Igwe!

The Arsenal FC all time highest goal scorer who jetted into Nigeria today, December 17 had met with journalist before proceeding to prepare the famous Nigerian Jollof rice after which he met with fans cheering his name.
