Some people still see actresses as prostitutes – Mimisola Daniel

On-the –rise actress, Mimisola Daniel has expressed her disappointment over the perception some people still have about actresses, perceiving them to be prostitutes and wayward.

The Economics graduate of Olabisi Onabanjo University in a chat with TheNewsGuru said a lot of people still don’t see acting to be a legitimate profession.

Sharing her opinion with TheNewsGuru, Daniel who is one of the most sought after actresses in the Yoruba sector of Nollywood said:” Many people in Nigeria generalize actresses as prostitutes and again a lot of people look down on actors mostly with the belief that it is not a legitimate profession”.

The beautiful role interpreter who has starred in movies like ‘Ewu’, ‘Ijaya’, ‘Mother’s Wish’ and others also restated her stance on sex being an integral part of a relationship.

“Sex is an integral part of a relationship or marriage, hence my stand on whether i ll cheat or not. I wouldn’t marry someone who isn’t sexually fit in bed.”
