Kuchie Kuchie singer, Jodie has opened up on the travails she experienced giving birth to her son Chinua a special needs child. During her emotional interview with Linda Ikeji TV, she said her son has been diagnosed with a rare case of Lissencephaly and Cerebral Palsy.

According to her: “When I was having my baby, I thought I was going to die. Then my husband at the time was in the room. At that time, I said to myself:’ if I am going to die let me know my kid is fine’. I saw myself in a void that was a step between life and death and it occurred to me that there are songs that I haven’t released. I said to myself: “ If I die now, that means I won’t be able to release the song”. My son didn’t cry for 9 hours, he cried miraculously.”

They tell you your child may not walk, may not talk, and he may die before he is 2 years old. I take him out when I want to, when I can. Sometimes, we don’t know why certain things happen, we really don’t know” she said.

When asked If she is still married to the father of the child, who happens to be Nollywood actor David Nnaji, she said:”I don’t want to talk about it”.
