The Lagos State Government on Tuesday confirmed that an infected coronavirus guest attended Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) held on Saturday, March 14 2020 at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi revealed this on Tuesday via his official Twitter handle. He also urged all participants at the award to self-isolate for two weeks (14 days).
TheNewsGuru.com, TNG reports that the commissioner did not however revealed the identity of the guest.

Abayomi confirmed that the participants at the event may have come in contact with one of the confirmed case of Coronavirus in Lagos and most likely exposed to the virus.
TNG reports that the event had many celebrities from both home and abroad in attendance.
The event held at a time when the Corona virus pandemic was beginning to spread in Nigeria.
