Nigerian singer, Davido thrilled his fans on Tuesday when he appeared as a guest artiste on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a popular American late-night talk show.
The star artiste performed ‘Assurance’, a track off ‘A Good Time‘ and ‘Jowo’, a song off ‘A Better Time,‘ his 2021 album, on the show.
His performance on the show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, American media personality, was done virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The two hit singles are billed to feature on the soundtrack for ‘Coming 2 America’, a 2021 US comedy film, scheduled to hit the cinemas on Friday.
The upcoming project is a sequel to ‘Coming to America,’ a 1988 romantic comedy film, directed by John Landis.
TheNewsGuru reports that Davido has now joined the likes of Burna Boy and Rema who have performed on the show aired on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC).
Back in February, the award-winning musician took a trip down memory lane when he paid a visit to the old apartment in the United States where he lived 12 years ago.
He revealed that “as hard as it is to believe”, he actually had no money and support from anyone at that time.
The ‘OBO’ crooner also expressed his gratitude to God for seeing him through and helping him achieve his dreams of being a millionaire while encouraging his fans to never give up on their aspiration.
“Damn I went to my old apartments where I used to live 12 years ago with Sina and B red!!! As hard as it is to believe .. we had no money .. no support just us and a dream !! 12 years later ! We millions in ! Road to a billion !!! We thank God !! Never stop believing,” he wrote.
