Security operatives attached to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport ,MMIA, Lagos confiscated 17 check-in luggage of Nigerian pop star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido after his bodyguards manhandled Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, security officials, Customs and others, on arrival at the airport from a foreign trip on Thursday.
Recall that Tiwa Savage reportedly had a brawl with airport workers after she stated that her goods were stolen.
An airport official who beheld the brawl revealed that as Davido’s aides echanged words with them, he supposedly punched a checkpoint staff in the face while another official of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and Aviation Security (AVSEC) personnel were also attacked. This made the airport officials to arrest and detain the aide.
According to reports reaching TheNewsGuru, Davido has made efforts to get his aide released, but his moves proved unsuccessful as operatives immediately transferred him to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Panti, Lagos.
