Don’t joke with your health- Halima Abubakar tells entertainers

Months back, social media was awash with news that Halima Abubakar was battling cancer. Unknown to many, the talented actress was only suffering from complications of fibroid removal surgery.

The storm is over for the actress and she is back doing what she knows how to do best.

Speaking on the need for entertainers not to neglect their health, she said:”Don’t joke with anything or take things for granted, even if it’s a headache or cold. Treat it immediately.”

When asked about what she learnt during that phase in her life, she said:”I learnt that I am loved and supported. I was overwhelmed by the outpour of love and encouragement from friends, family and fans. It really made me feel appreciated. I am grateful to everybody who showed me love and I want them to know that I love them too.”
