Sid also went on to appreciate others who have influenced his life positively in one way or other, adding that he hopes to celebrate them in a big way.
“I would have love to share this day with both my parents but 1 will have to do. They both shaped the man I have become today. So as I celebrate the big 40, I want to celebrate my parents and everyone who has been part of my growth and development. Thank you. Big announcement coming soon,” he wrote on Friday.

Dr Sid has won a slew of awards including ‘Revelation of the year’ at the 2011 edition of The Headies and the ‘Best Afro Hip Hop Video’ category at the Nigerian Music Video Awards in 2009.

TheNewsGuru recalls that the Delta-born singer tied the knot with Simi Osomo, his wife, at Ikoyi Baptist Church, Lagos, in August 2014.
Earlier this year, their marriage reportedly crashed.
Although Dr Sid has not released any statement about the break-up, Simi, on her part, confirmed their separation, adding that the marriage would soon be annulled.
In a statement, the mother of two claimed that some people were bent on defaming her character adding that she was not capable of attacking a man twice her size.
The statement read in part, “I have been consciously silent on this but as some people are out to defame my character and integrity with a fabrication of the facts, I am choosing to address it once and for all.
“The incredible false allegations recently written about our marriage ending due to me being violent towards someone twice my size and also of me preventing him from seeing his children (when he has clearly shared recent pictures with our daughter at my home) only depicts the laughable lengths at which some press are willing to go for click baits, and this needed to be cleared up. Such attempts will not be tolerated as I have stomached enough already…
