Nigerian outspoken rapper, Ruggedman who is known for expressing his grievances over national issues has told the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) that it only amounts to an incomplete job, if Nigerians get to see recovered money, without the culprits getting arrested .
The Baraje crooner reacted after EFCC found $43.4m, £27,800 and N23.8m cash in a building in Ikoyi, Lagos.
He took to his Instagram page to express his views. According to him:”I am tired of excuses from our leaders. How is it helping Nigeria? Where is all the money they have recovered? What is the money being used for? I don’t know if EFCC gets a percentage or if the whistle blower gets a percentage.Can’t they use the money to solve some of Nigeria’s problems that we have had since 1960? We are a country of great natural and human resources but greed and hunger has been our greatest obstacle.”
