Many years ago, I went for work at Abuja and I wasn’t expecting any gift on Valentine’s Day. I used to date a guy based in the UK at the time. Only for me to get home and my dad told me I had a package from the UK. He sent me a laptop and at that time, my laptop had problems. He recently left the country at that time,but he never informed me about what he intended doing.

I have had different Valentine’s Day experiences, but the most memorable one was in my former apartment at Adeola Odeku.
We had a very light lunch, after that he took me to my balcony, spread out the duvet on the floor. I almost had a seizure! He had ice cream (with some ice flakes) and a few menthol sweet. I laid down, he took a wrap of sweet in his mouth and began to “Dish-wash” me. I felt I had experienced chills until he poured the ice cream on my ‘cookie’ (with the menthol still in his mouth) then he began to mumble some words on my honey pot. It was an unforgettable experience.

The fact is that I have always had very high expectations whenever Valentine’s Day is approaching and I am supposedly in a relationship .Truth is I have always been very unlucky when it comes to having the best moments, it’s either my partner isn’t available or I am single during the period.
