Nollywood damsels Funke Akindele-Bello and Toyin Abraham currently stand as the two filmmakers with the highest-grossing films with over N300 million in 2020.
Mrs. Akindele-Bello’s ‘Omo Ghetto: The Saga’ and Mrs. Abraham’s ‘Fate of Alakada,’ each grossed over N100 million in cinemas after the Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria released the 10 highest-grossing films of 2020.
While ‘Omo Ghetto: The Saga,’ which was released on December 25, 2020, grossed over N187 million, ‘Fate of Alakada’ grossed over N113 million after its release on October 1, 2020.
