How top celebrities, including Osimhen cough out over N64million for Bobrisky while in jail

Controversial Nigerian cross dresser Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, better known as Bobrisky, has extended appreciation to top socialites who gave him money while he was doing his time at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) recalls that the 33-year-old was sentenced to six months in prison on April 12, 2024, without the option of a fine by Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court, Lagos, for abusing the Naira and was released on August 5.

On his Instagram page on Saturday, the male Barbie listed top Nigerian celebrities such as Don Jazzy, Tonto Dikeh, Tiwa Savage, and many other socialities who came through for him when he was incarcerated

He also shared the amount each individual gave to him to show support during his difficult times.

Whilst some gave six million, others gave amount ranging between five million, four million, and one million.

Bobrisky, in the now deleted post, also hailed popular Nigerian footballer, Victor Osimhen for his support and help during his time in prison. 

Sharing photos of some of the personalities who supported him, Bobrisky wrote: “Women rule d world. I’m gonna be appreciating dis first set of 10 women in my life. I wish Instagram could make me post you all once, but it’s fine. I’m posting d next sweet souls after dis. You all are d REAL definition of friends. I’m glad i have you all in my life I’m here to say thank you. God bless you all for me. As you have wiped my tears God in heaven will wipe all ur tears. God bless u.”

In another post, he wrote; “I’m proud to have you all in my circle. You all are damn beautiful with kind heart. You all treated me like last born.

“You all ignore my stubbornness and still show me endless support and love. You all will live long in money and good health. I will not and never cry over any of you here. Thank you all for standing by me.”
