I once had an affair with one of my colleagues -Anthony Monjaro

Nollywood actor, Anthony Akposheri, with the stage name, Anthony Monjaro, came to limelight when he acted as the captain in the blockbuster movie, ‘Last Flight to Abuja’. Fans won’t forget in a hurry the unconventional role he played in ‘Lekki Wives’.

The Delta State born actor in a chat with Pulse TV noted that he has dated one of his colleagues.

In his words: “I have dated one of my colleagues. This happened when I first came back from the UK. I had a relationship with someone I was working with. With that you cannot tell people your relationship because If it doesn’t work out and you move on to somebody else, they tend to say you have dated several people. So I keep my relationship private”.

Anthony in an interview narrated how he came about the name Monajro.

“Monjaro is a stage name I created, my real is Anthony Akposheri. But another Nollywood actor also bears Tony Akposheri, I decided to change it but I wanted something African. I adopted Monjaro from Kilimanjaro Mountain because of my height. I just tweaked it a little. I decided to have a stage name for distinction”
