Suave actor and filmmaker, Mike Ezuronye has said contrary to what people think, he is nothing like the characters he plays. The outspoken role interpreter said most of his fans have a wrong perception about him, thinking he is a mean dude.
Ezuronye made this known in a recent chat with Hip TV. According to him: “You are asked to play a character and you bring it to life and people feel you are that person. I am not the characters I play. There was a time I was always playing mean roles, and people love to confront me, reason why I pull my chin up. We are nothing without our fans, so I understand”.
The award-winning actor worked as a banker before becoming an actor.He received two nominations for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2008, 2009 and a nomination for Best actor in Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
