Comedienne and actress, Anita Asuoha, aka Real Warri Pikin, has stated that she attempted suicide over unpaid debts in 2018.
Real Warri Pikin noted that at the time, she and her husband, Ikechukwu Asuoha, were overcome with thoughts of how to repay a debt of N22 million.
The media personality also explained that as help was not forthcoming at the time, she gave in to the suicidal thoughts and tried killing herself.
The comedienne said unknown to her then, God was preparing her for the blessing that was about to unfold.
She urged people not to resort to suicide when it appears things are not going as planned, adding that mental health should be given top priority always.
The mother of two did not fail to acknowledge God for giving her another chance at life.
The curvy entertainer shared a recent photo and a throwback photo of herself on a hospital bed as she recalled what she went through during the rough period.
The post held an accompanying caption that reads:“On the 6th of June 2018, The Only Words I was Hearing in my head was…End it Now! Give up Already! No Hope!
