According to him: ”I attained stardom In 1998, I was 22 years old at the time.’ Yawa Go Gas’ shot me in limelight and it was produced by Nelson Brown, sponsored by Femi Lasode. I had to make sure fame did not change my personality .Even as at the time I became Alariwo of Africa, I had no car, I used to jump from one Molue bus to another”.
Alariwo recalled an embarrassing moment he cannot forget in a hurry .He revealed that he was on a bus when his song was being played and a fan recognized him.
“While I was on the bus and my song came on the air, someone said:’Is this not the Alariwo we watch on the television, so he doesn’t have a car?’. I was never bothered by such comments because my father raised me to be a realistic person”.
