Lucia Toyin Majekodunmi a.k.a Iya Kike is scheduled to be buried in March 2017.
Recall that the veteran actress died on January 2nd after a brief illness.Her Families and colleagues have officially come up with dates for her burial arrangements.
According to Yinka Quadri:” The Families and her colleagues have agreed on 2nd & 3rd March, 2017 for her burial and set up a committee to this effect. The BURIAL COMMITTEE include:Fausat Balogun (Madam Saje)Taiwo Oduola ( Alabon)Taiwo Akinwande ( Wunmi) and others.”
Her families and colleagues have expressed their gratitude for the condolence messages sent since her demise.
Yomi Fabiyi, an actor who worked closely with her said:” This woman lived a life of service not just for her children and husband only, but for many in the industry. It’s so sad that some of the new stars and film makers don’t get to experience her zeal and multiple supports because of her ill-health of late, they would have understand better but THIS IS THE KIND OF PEOPLE WE SHOULD ALL COME TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE, IT DOESN’T MATTER IF YOU MET HER OR EXPERIENCE ANY OF THIS.
Life is only worth it if it is lived for others. I enjoin us all to partake in her burial come March. Love and Respect for all.”
