Following a ruling by Judge Steven Cochran of Los Angeles Superior Court, on Wednesday, that reality TV star, Kim Kardashian, can return to her maiden name, she has removed the surname of her estranged husband, Kanye West, from her social media profiles.
During a hearing, the judge declared Kim single.
On her Instagram and Twitter pages, the business mogul who was once ‘Kim Kardashian West’ has simply become ‘Kim Kardashian’.
This comes shortly after Kim was declared legally single, one year after filing for divorce from rapper, Kanye West.
Kim and Kanye share four children together and were married for nine years.
The duo said “I do” at the Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, May 24, 2014.
Their first child, daughter, North West, was born on June 15, 2013.

On the day of the wedding, May 24, the wedding guests were flown on a private chartered jet to Florence for the wedding itself.
The bride wore custom Givenchy haute couture designed by Riccardo Tisci and was accompanied down the aisle by Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner. Italian singer Andrea Bocelli performed as Kardashian walked down the aisle towards the most incredible flower wall and West.
The groom and the couple’s daughter, North West, both wore custom Givenchy to the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, presided over by Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr., 200 guests including Kardashian West’s famous family and the couple’s celebrity friends, attended an evening dinner reception.
