Actress and filmmaker, Mary Njoku has revealed that she offered a passer-by in Asaba, the Delta State capital, a role in the TV series, Ojukwu.
The Iroko TV boss made this known on Instagram on Monday.

She wrote, “Travelled to Asaba for an audition, we were looking for Ilolo, a character in #Ojukwu season 3. Auditioned several ladies and this passer-by, walked up to us and asked if she can give it a try. She was so good we had to rewrite the script to accommodate her… “.

TheNewsGuru recalls that Olajumoke Orisaguna, similarly landed her first modelling gig after photo-bombing a photo session of British rapper, Tinie Tempah by photographer, TY Bello, while hawking bread in Lagos.
Njoku made her acting debut in the 2004 Nollywood movie ‘Home Sickness’, which she featured alongside with Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha. She came to limelight after featuring in popular Nollywood blockbuster ‘Blackberry Babes’ in 2011.
Between 2011 and 2013, Njoku produced iROKtv, a YouTube platform that featured interviews with Nigerian celebrities, as well as coverage of Afrobeats and Nollywood events. In 2015, Njoku became Chief Content Officer at IROKO Partners. By March, she held her first world premier for her film Thy Will Be Done at the BFI IMAX London, the first ever Nollywood film premiere in IMAX.
