Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, an American hip-hop mogul, has stated that the referee should have allowed Floyd Mayweather to knock out Conor McGregor.

He noted that the referee racially profiled Mayweather, hence his interference before McGregor could hit the canvas.

The contest was stopped in the 10th round after Mayweather threw sequential punches at McGregor who appeared to be heading for a fall.

Following the referee’s stoppage, the fight was pronounced a technical knock out.

Afterwards, Diddy took to Twitter to express his discontent at the way the fight ended.

“I just feel like the ref was racially profiling, he should have let him knock out the man mehn… champ, knock him out the box,” he said.

McGregor had also whined about the referee discontinuing the match in the tenth round, saying he was only “fatigued”.

“I was just a little exhausted. He was just a lot more composed with his shots. I thought it was close though and I thought it was a bit of an early stoppage,” he said after his defeat.

According to Mayweather:”Our game plan was to take our time, go to him, let him shoot his shots early and then take him out down the stretch,” he said.

“We know in MMA he fights for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes, he started to slow down. I guaranteed to everybody that this wouldn’t go the distance.
