A video showing a young Nigerian lady condemning Nollywood movies and filmmakers has been generating the myriad of comments on social media. In the video, the unidentified lady said most filmmakers in Nollywood are supposed to be spare parts dealers and not fit for the movie industry.

According to her:” Nigerian movie producers should stop ranting, stop making noise, work on your storyline. We make too much noise, we should go and work on our audio, and we should work on our lightning. Most of Nollywood filmmakers are not professionals. The light men are quacks they don’t know what they are doing. Why is it that people prefer to watch Mexican films, Zee world and Telemundo other than Nollywood films?

“You people should ask yourselves this question. We have lost it. Most of these so called producers need to be spare parts dealers, instead of wasting their time in Nollywood” she said.

Read some of the reactions from Nigerians below:

“Isn’t this the same goat that was canvassing for Biafra. As for the movie industry, she got it backwards. It’s producers who should stop giving roles to girls for sex. The girls are already runs girls, they have little or no acting talent so sex is the only thing they can offer. Most of the upcoming actresses go into the industry for runs, not to become an established actress. How many of them depend on movie pay for their lifestyle? The talented new actresses don’t need favours from any producer. The other ones know themselves” Folake said

A certain Obi wrote:”Na true she talk na. Those Nollywood auditions are just messed up. You see naked women everywhere. I just wonder what been nakedness has to do with movie auditions. Nollywood lacks good stories”.
