Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has revealed that her twerking for Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, was to win a competition that involved money.
Recall that the mother of one got tongues wagging on social media after a video of her twerking for the monarch went viral.
Nkechi silenced her critics over her twerking for the Ooni of Ife, as the actress explained that she was losing the dance competition to a colleague, so she resorted to twerking as last resort.
The actress further revealed that the dance earned her second position and the sum of N250K from the Ooni of Ife.
Sharing photos from the event, she captioned:
“About yesterday’s judge’s dance competition as my Oga @fagboyobamidele don Dey win me I say make I improvise but las las I came second and walked away with 250k courtesy the king @ooniadimulaife. May You live long sir. God bless you abundantly for putting smiles on d faces of million.”
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) recalls that Nkechi had visited the Ooni of Ife , after she “joked” about becoming the seventh wife of the monarch.
In her words: “Ooni of Ife sir, I am patiently waiting for my turn.”
The post didn’t go down well with many Nigerians as they tongue-lashed the actress.
Nkechi said she was invited by the fifth wife of Ooni, Queen Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi, as one of the judges for Queen Moremi Ajasoro (QMA) International Competition.
