The Managing Director of LCM, Danny Fuches, while making the donation to the beneficiaries, said it was the company’s little way of giving back to the society.

“This is part of our corporate social responsibility; adding value in one way or the other to the life of the less privileged is a thing of joy.

“We started this donation eight years ago as a company and ever since then, we have never looked back.

“We hope the money will be used judiciously and effectively to better the lives of the children in the homes,” he said.

In the same vein, LCM’s Head of Human Resources, Falade Oyekan, said that no fewer than 40 homes within and outside Lagos, had benefitted from the donation since 2008.

Oyekan said that the management of the company would do everything possible to continue the gesture.

Meanwhile, Sadiat Sabiu, the Chief Social Welfare officer in charge of the Special Correctional Centre for Girls, lauded the company for the donation.

Sabiu said that such donation would go a long way to complement the effort of the Lagos State Government in catering for the less privileged.
