Rising actress, Blessing Ofoegbu is the latest to share details of the rivalry and hatred in Nollywood.
Recall that Nollywood actor Kelvin Ikeduba recently posted a video accusing celebrities of not helping themselves.
“Barely few years in the industry, I have experienced all sorts from the stables of the high and mighty self-entitled ‘stakeholders’, to the very insecure individuals whose only claim to fame is an old testament fact of “We started this industry,” he wrote.
In an interview with the TheNewsGuru, the sexy role interpreter said:”There is no love in Nollywood, all we do is discriminate and form caucus. We can’t help ourselves because they don’t want you to be better than them. We forget that every individual has a level of grace.”
Speaking further, Ofoegbu stressed that no one remains on top forever
“You can be on top today and tomorrow another person will take over from you and do better than you have done. My advice to my colleagues is that no one is a permanent champion in life; we need to learn to support one another”.
Comedian and filmmaker, AY also recently lamented over the rivalry in Nollywood.
