Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing, has finally revealed the reason why she dated her ex-lover, Opeyemi Falegan.

The 33-year-old disclosed this to TV host Morayo Afolabi Brown on the Your View show aired on TVC.

According to the actress, She only dated Falegan to make her US-based ex-lover Mike Adeyemi jealous, adding that she never expected their relationship would get serious.

Speaking further, Nkechi Blessing confirmed that she is in a new relationship with a 27-year-old man.

She said: “He was the one that loves me more. I recently broke out of a relationship with my ex that lives in America and then in the heat of the break up he started posting a girl covering her face, and I realized that there was this man asking me out. okay, fine man so that was me trying to use him to get back at my ex, then I landed in a relationship.”

The actress and her ex made headlines in April after they stormed social media to throw several accusations against each other as they announce their breakup.

A few weeks after the breakup, Nkechi confirmed she has found love again.

The actress stated that dating all over again is not as difficult as she had imagined and it is even easier when her man cannot go a day without speaking to her.

 

She wrote on Instagram: “Dating all over again is actually not as hard as I envisaged especially when he can’t go a day without talking to you.”

 

The post was made weeks after Nkechi Blessing stated that she was not ashamed to fall in love again despite the breakup.

 

She wrote: “Regardless of what I have been through in relationships, I will never advise anyone against finding and falling in love. Love is a beautiful thing and I am never ashamed of falling in love again. don’t worry about me, I am good.”
