Sonorous singer, Ric Hassani has announced the demise of his father — a few hours after putting out ‘The Prince I Became’, his new album.
The songwriter made the disclosure in a series of tweets on Friday, adding that he died a week ago.
He, however, did not reveal the situations that led to his father’s death.
In one of the posts, the singer described his late father as a very good person who taught him so many things.
A week ago today, I lost my Dad. He was a great man, a very good person. I learnt so much from him, and he is my Angel now. Rest in Peace Daddy, ‘K.K’ loves you. pic.twitter.com/ZroA7KAFZN

“A week ago today, I lost my Dad. He was a great man, a very good person. I learnt so much from him, and he is my angel now. Rest in peace daddy, ‘K.K’ loves you,” he wrote.
In another post, he also applauded his late father’s contribution to ‘Korede’, a track off the newly-released album.
“People like your song Dad, I knew your vocals on it will be good. Wish you were here, just one more week. But God knows best,” he added.
