When it comes to the matter of love, it can be found sometimes in unusual places. Unknown to many, a number of Nigerian actors cum actresses found love in the line of duty.

Fausat Balogun(Madam Saje) and Rafiu Balogun
Fausat Balogun a.k.a Madam Saje is a revered actress in the Yoruba sector of Nollywood. Unknown to many, she is married to Rafiu Balogun, another Nollywood actor. Balogun founded the “Balogun” theatre group in the 1970s. He produced the highly successful television movie titled: “Abeni Ajagun” in 1979. Their eldest son is a movie director, while their youngest daughter is an actress, .
Bukola Awoyemi (Arugba) and Damola Olatunji
Damola Olatunji and actress, Bukola Awoyemi, also met in the line of duty. Though they had a rough patch at the beginning of their relationship, (as Olatunji was previously married when he started a relationship with Awoyemi), the couple surmounted that challenge.

According to Jacobs, for him it was a case of love at first sight.
On the qualities that endeared him to her, the ace actor said in an interview with Punch:”She goes straight to the point and doesn’t mince words. I find that to be a very good quality. She is strong and polite. She is indeed a good girl”.
