Bolanle Olukanni endeared herself to the Nigerian television audience through her seeming innocence and girl-next-door demeanour on the MTN Project Fame show.
Since then the svelte beauty has carved a niche for herself in the Nigerian media space, with her side gig on Moments with Mo, as well as her show,On the Carpet with Bolinto and her social impact documentary ‘Gods’ Wives’ drawing attention to the plight of widows.
The outspoken media gal however stunned her followers on Instagram when she revealed that she is celibate.
According to her:”I have not been in too many relationships and they have all been cool and decent. I have always known that I wanted to save myself for marriage like I didn’t want to have sex until I was married. Life happens and sometimes it works and sometimes it didn’t but I do know that now I am abstaining from sex. When I am in a relationship with someone it helps when sex is off the table.
“Sex can cloud your judgement when you are in a relationship with someone.My first kiss was when I was 18 and I remember saying this is a lot. Sex creates a bond with someone that should be saved for marriage. I guard my mind, I don’t watch movies that have scenes in them. The reason why I do that is that I don’t want to stimulate myself, I don’t want to be horny and be looking for someone to have sex with”.
