“If you think bringing someone else down is the only way you can climb, darling, that’s witchcraft right there! We are all striving to be better than we were yesterday.

“Stop talking about other people! HUSTLE on your lane!!! I’m not going to dump down to make you feel better. Get up let’s go! PS: If you really can’t stand the heat, honey, leave the kitchen! It’s 2020 #Omonifam, let’s win.”

TheNewsGuru recalls that back in July 2019,Oboli set Nigerian Twittersphere abuzz following her submission on the rape narrative by Busola Dakolo, celebrity photographer.

Busola, wife of Timi Dakolo, had claimed that Biodun Fatoyinbo, senior pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) sexually abused her as a teenager.

The award-winning actress took to Instagram to weigh in on the matter.

Oboli shared a long epistle in which she said she was trying to get all the facts before taking sides in the rape scandal.

Despite her support for Busola, she said that there were some inconsistencies in her claims which she believed was born out of ”truthfulness”.

“The Bible warns us to “be quick to hear, be slow to speak, and be slow to wrath, and going by my personal experience of seeing how quickly many took sides without first getting all the facts, weighing it against the character of all the parties involved, given our antecedents, and then drawing conclusions from evidence and an objective comparative analysis of the accounts, rather than from emotions, envy, the thrill of seeing strife, I have waited to digest the whole matter first,” she wrote.
