Nigerian singers, Tiwa Savage and Seyi Shay have reignited their age long rift.
The rivalry between the talented singers started years back when Seyi Shay was revealed as an ambassador for Pepsi. This bit of news was astonishing because Tiwa Savage was still a Pepsi ambassador. There were rumours that Tiwa Savage had been dropped for Seyi Shay. Of course that rumour didn’t turn out to be true. Yet people wondered why a brand will sign two female singers within the same genre?
In the same vein, the beef was further kindled in 2019 when Seyi Shay and Victoria Kimani slammed Tiwa Savage in their respect versions of KIzz Daniel’s Fvckyouchallenge.
However in a trending video, the duo who met today at a salon on the Island were involved in a heated arguement. Seyi Shay reached out to Tiwa Savage trying to say hi.Tiwa however declined making reference to how Seyi Shay and Kimani dissed her in a song years back.
Tiwa said in the video:” Don’t come to me and say hi with a dirty and disgusting spirit that you have. You think I have forgotten how many years ago what you guys did? You and victor kimani. You think I have forgotten? You think I can forget? God should take my son if I have ever done or said anything about you and Victoria Kimani. Bitch I am made, I have money, I have nothing to take from you”
In reply, Seyi Shay:”You want me to open the things you have done, I am not like you, I won’t do that.If you want to act like an ‘Agbaya ‘ right now, carry on. The only reason why I greeted you is to try and squash our beef. Don’t let me open your ‘yansh’ here”.
Tiwa fired back saying:”You don’t try and squash any beef by saying hi. You try and squash it by calling me in a corner and settling it. Your ‘yansh’ is the dirtiest in this industry, you slut. You look half- dead , look at your skin.You need to mind your business that Is what will clear up your ugly skin”.
As at the time of filing this report, none of them are yet to react to the trending video.
