Housemaid admits killing Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia’s daughter

Nigerian Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia late daughter, Aribemchukwu’s domestic staff has admitted to killing her.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Aribemchukwu was found lifeless outside the gate of their house, located in Parkview Estate, at about 6:45am on Wednesday.

TNG learnt the newly employed domestic staff which includes, a housemaid, security guard, and a driver was suspected to be behind the incident and immediately arrested.

Although Aribemchukwu’s body was found at the entrance of the gate of their house, police evidence suggests an attempt to clean up blood both inside the house and within the compound.

Speaking to the Punch on Friday, a Police source said the housemaid admitted killing her boss.

According to the source, the suspects cleaned up the blood stains but missed some spots because it happened at night.

“The house help did not deny what happened. She said, ‘We do am, na we do am’, during an interrogation and everything she said tallied with the evidence on the ground.” the police source said.

The source also disclosed that the suspects had packed Aribemchukwu’s valuables after the incident.

The source added that all three domestic workers were employed at the same time a week before the incident.

The deceased, a medical doctor, recently got married.
