Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis Gospel International Centre has caused an online stir over an Amapiano-style song he recently released.
This comes after the preacher took to his official social media platforms to share a sneak peek of the music video for his debut Amapiano-styled single, titled “Elee”.
Sharing the video, the cleric wrote: While sharing the video on his page, Pastor Enenche wrote:
“Hallelujah! The much anticipated Music Video is out.🎼🎥🔥❤️
God is set to do something mighty in your life that will make you scream ELEE 💃🕺
Beloved! As we are in the season of Praise, be encouraged to use this opportunity to listen to this Music video and have God turn things in your favor.
Don’t forget to share with family and friends as your testimonies manifest In Jesus Name🔥
Have a blessed week ahead!”
The new gospel music features Pastor Enenche and others dressed in Victorian-inspired attire, dancing and celebrating to the vibrant beat.
However, the unconventional blend of gospel and Amapiano is causing some netizens to share their thoughts about the track
While some netizens likened Pastor Enenche’s new song to his colleague, Emeka Odumeje who recently released a track titled Powers with singer Flavour, others argued that they were nothing alike and that Pastor Enenche had been making music for a very long time.
@Trhymesz said; “👏👏Ghana people should know we started Gospel Amapiano oh. I no wan see arguement about this thing next year! We’ve given them abido shaker & now this 😮💨”
Ronofglory said: “The song sweet make we no lie!!!”
RealOBOZUWA said: “Odumeje has set the ball rolling. Other Pastors can now join.”
Tomiwa_Hilfiger said: “You can use worldly beats to make gospel songs but you can’t use worldly songs in church
Maxwell wrote: “He didn’t just start singing today. He has been singing since day one. Oya ya’all go and listen to his ACOUSTIC album.”
