Police reacts to photo of an officer with charm tied on his hand

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, Adejobi Olumuyiwa on Monday reacted to a viral purported photo of an officer with a charm tied on his hand.

Recall, a photo of an unnamed police officer with charm tied on his hand sparked reactions after causing a stir on social media.

Reacting to the photo, the police IGP on Monday via his Instagram account noted that charms were not included in the dress code of the officers.

He further urged the general public to discard the photo as it is an handiwork of mischief makers.

Sharing the photo, Adejobi Olumuyiwa wrote: “Ignore this pix. This was photoshopped. This is not our dress code. Handiwork of mischief makers. Thanks.”
