Founder and head prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry (CMDM) in Effurun, Delta State Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin has withdrawn the suit filed against social media influencer Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that the Delta-born prophet dragged the social media sensation to court for claiming he stages miracles.

This is coming after VeryDarkMan, via his social media pages, publicly called out the prophet for selling miracle products, including soap, water, perfume and mustard seed.

Fufeyin had claimed that his soap, which was approved by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), is a potent remedy that could cure any disease, particularly benefiting those suffering from disappointment, failure, and delays in achieving their life goals.

The prophet also stated that the soap, holy water, and mustard seed were God’s gifts, which were capable of overcoming obstacles for those who had purchased land but faced unforeseen building challenges.

Following VDM’s criticism, Fufeyin, filed a lawsuit, asking the court to grant him N1 billion in damages against the influencer for damaging his reputation and also restrain VeryDarkMan from speaking about him.

Undeterred, VeryDarkMan responded to the suit by threatening to come to court with 700 hundred blind and deaf people and test the water and soap on all of them.

“I am coming to the court with 800 deaf people, 700 blind people, and 36 women who are looking for the fruit of the womb; you must use your healing water and soap to heal all of them in front of the judge,” VeryDarkMan said in the video.

Days after VDM’s threat, the prophet, in a new development, has withdrawn the suit, extending forgiveness to the social media sensation.

He further urged VeryDarkMan to learn from his mistake and walk in righteousness.

Following the teachings of Jesus, who preached peace and corrected sinners, I forgive you. May you learn from your mistakes and walk in righteousness from now on, my son,” Prophet Fufeyin said.
