Suspended senior pastor of the City of David Parish, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Idowu Iluyomade has been seen in public occasions in recent times.
Iluyomade, also called PID on Saturday attended a popular technocrat birthday party in Lagos. However, on Sunday, the embattled clergyman graced the wedding reception of businesswoman Bola Shagaya’s son in Abuja.
Recall, Shagaya’s son Muktar married his lover and daughter of Senator Tolu Odebiyi, Ayotola last week amongst friends and family.
The wedding reception had several dignitaries in attendance including governors, former governors, lawmakers, businessmen and businesswomen.
The couple who had their traditional wedding in Lagos was hosted by Shagaya to a mothers’ only event in Abuja.
The RCCG pastor was seen at the event with his wife Siju, but went alone to the birthday party of the popular technocrat.
Shagaya was amongst guests at Iluyomade’s wife party which held in Lagos a week after a prominent member of the RCCG City of David Parish and key financier, the former group chief executive officer of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe, his wife Chizoba and son Chizi and several others died in a helicopter crash in California, United States on February 9.
Iluyomade’s wife’s celebration which saw highlife singer Flavour serenade Siju, was widely criticized by many on social media.
Iluyomade was subsequetly suspended on June 1 for three months by the council of elders which is investigating some allegations against him.
