The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has given customers with outstanding bills 72 hours to settle their debts.
TheNewsGuru.Com (TNG) reports that the acting Managing Director of AEDC, Victor Ojelabi, on Friday made this known in a statement, where he said the deadline for all outstanding payments is Monday, June 3, 2024.
Ojelabi who disclosed that costumers owing the power company will have their electricity supply disconnect, noted that timely payment of electricity bills remains crucial for the continued operation and enhancement of AEDC’s infrastructure, which is essential for delivering uninterrupted service to the community.
Emphasizing on the importance of adhering to payment deadlines, Ojelabi said, “Customers who are yet to settle their outstanding bills within the next 72 hours will face disconnection of their electricity supply.”
Ojelabi reiterated the company’s obligation to provide efficient and reliable service but warned that this requires prompt payment of electricity bills.
Customers with outstanding bills are urged to settle their accounts immediately to avoid service disruption.
