Prof. Onimawo, AL – Mustapha, others bag 2018 Pillars of Soccer Ambassador awards

The organiser of Miss Football Nigeria Beauty Pageant, recently organised the third edition Grand finale of Miss Football Nigeria Pageant at National Press Centre, Radio House Abuja.

The aims of the Pageant is geared towards redefining Nigeria football with entertainment and to build female models (Queens) with brains, beauty and character.

Ten contestants participated at the Pageant. They appeared/dressed on casual wears, native attire and dinner gowns.

The contestants were asked strict questions related to football & current affairs.

After the exercise, Miss Rejoice Roland from Edo State emerged the winner as was crown Miss Football Nigeria 2018 (Queen of Football), Amina Adamu from Nasarawa State 1st runner- up won Miss Fair play while the 2nd runner – up Precious Sunday from Edo State won Miss Referee respectively.

Some guests at the event include Mr Fanny Amu (former General Secretary NFF), DG FRCN highly represented by Mr Shina Abimbola (Head Sports, Radio Nigeria) and Mrs Preye Brigeni (Managing Director, Agape Kitchen).

Highlight of the event is the presentation of Pillar of Soccer Ambassador Award to Prof. Ignatius A.

Onimawo (Vice Chancellor, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma as the best VC on Youth and Sports Development in Nigeria Universities. Major Hamza – Al-Muatapha (RTD) Presidential Candidate, People Party of Nigeria represented by the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Party Chief Robert Opara, Royal Chief James Nengi, Honour Sirawoo – National President Sports Writer’s Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Chief T. A Abiodun – (CEO/GMD) Olu Limit Printing Press and Chief (Mrs) Ruth Ubiri – MD Tok Oil as Soccer Ambassador Awardees and National Patrons.

The Chairman/CEO Miss Football Nigeria – Amb. Moses Ebahor, thanked the guests, contestants, patrons, SWANjournalists, media organisations and Mack jJus Consultancy Services for their support.

Ebahor emphasised that since Football as a Beautiful Game, models female youths should be encouraged to participate on football activities.

He said the winner of Miss Football Nigeria 2018 will be sponsored on a paid trip to France Women World Cup 2019 to watch the medial and galvanize support for the Super – Falcons of Nigeria.

“She will also represent Nigeria at the Maiden Edition of Miss Football Africa in Liberia 2019. She will be saddled with the responsibility of promoting football development and Girl-Chid in Nigeria.” Says Ebahor
