Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara on Sunday expressed optimism that 2024 will be more fulfilling for the people of the state.
The governor made this known in a New Year message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye, and made available to newsmen in Ilorin.
AbdulRazaq, however, urged the public to work with the present administration to promote sustainable development and a more fulfilling year in 2024.
“The government will continue to deliver on its core mandate of ensuring safety of lives and properties, maintaining law and order, and providing basic amenities and infrastructure within available resources,” he said.
AbdulRazaq called on civil servants to put in more positive energy and constructive engagement for better service deliveries.
The governor also called on Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu-led reforms, saying the objective is to build a more resilient economy for the betterment of everybody.
