FA Cup: Chelsea, Newcastle, Villa win, through to next round (Full List of all qualified teams)

England most glamorous domestic cup competition the FA cup third-round fixtures began on Saturday while  some games will be played today, Sunday.

English top tier clubsides, Chelsea pummeled Preston 4-0, Aston Villa defeated 1-0  Middlesbrough  at Villa Park and  Sheffield United won 4-0 at Gillingham.

Swansea defeated Morecambe 2-0, Blackburn Rovers saw off Cambridge United 5-2 in a seven-goal thriller, while Sheffield Wednesday beat Cardiff City 3-0.

Bournemouth beat Queens Park Rangers 3-2, Newcastle outclassed Sunderland 3-0 in the Tyneside Derby and Leicester City progressed with a 3-2 victory over Millwall.

Ipswich won 3-1 at Wimbledon, Watford held off Chesterfield, while Brighton defeated Stoke City 4-2.

Meanwhile on Sunday, December 7, 2024 , Manchester City welcome Huddersfield on Sunday, while Arsenal clash with Liverpool at the Emirates.
