Fayose’s son, aide, others become PDP Reps candidates in Ekiti

Son of former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, Joju Fayose has emerged candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in next year’s election.

This detail is obtained by TheNewsGuru.com after the conclusion of the party’s primary election on Sunday.

Joju Fayose, who won the ticket for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency One, is joined by the ex-governor’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, who emerged as the PDP candidate for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency Two.

Joju Fayose scored 69 votes to defeat Deji Adeosun, who polled 9 votes; while Olayinka garnered 54 votes to beat his opponent, Victor, who scored 45 votes.

In the same vein, a former governorship aspirant, Yinka Akerele, won the party’s ticket for Ekiti North Federal Constituency One, emerging without opposition.

For Ekiti North Federal Constituency Two, Babatunde Ajayi polled 63 votes to clinch the ticket, defeating Funmi Ogun, who had 33 votes.
