First Lady, Aisha Storms NASS For Women As Reps Lay Constitution Review Report

The Nigerian First Lady, Hajia Aisha Buhari on Wednesday surprised all as she suddenly showed up at National Assembly in solidarity of lobbying to ensure that the provision for additional parliamentary seats for women is upheld, just as the House laid the report of the special adhoc committee on the review of the 1999 constitution.

Aisha who was in company of the Minister for Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen and other women advocates from the civil society groups was received into the green chamber by the promoter of the Bill and Deputy Majority Whip, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha.
