Governor Yahaya Bello has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to abide by the instructions of their leaders.
Governor Bello made the call during a meeting with ward and Local Government Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ankpa Federal Constituency at the Government House, Lokoja.
He noted that the party leaders will not mislead their followers because they have the interest of members and growth of the APC at heart.
The Governor enjoined the critical stakeholders not to allow themselves be deceived by anyone but remain united and supportive of the APC.
According to him, the existing unity in the party brought about the overwhelming victory in the twenty nineteen elections, urging them to sustain the spirit for greater success next year.
Governor Bello expressed appreciation to the party faithful from the two hundred and thirty-nine wards in the state, promising that their efforts will be duely rewarded.
He urged them to carry their members along in the scheme of things to enable all APC candidates emerge successful in the elections.
According to the Governor, “If the election is going to be credible, transparent and votes will count, which I know, I trust INEC that they are capable and will ensure that there’s transparency and votes will count”.

“You put me there, you elected me and you’re the ones enlightening the people at the grassroots, therefore I must identity with you. We are establishing a system whereby I will be having direct communication, not through third party again but direct communication with you individually and jointly…. whatever you want the Party and government to do for you, you can tell me directly ” he explained.
State Chairman of APC, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, noted that the critical stakeholders from the Federal Constituency comprising of Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala Local Government Areas gathered to receive instructions because of his uncommon leadership quality.
Member representing the Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abdullahi Halims, thanked the Governor for his investment, labor and contribution in the Party.
Halims advised his constituents to follow the useful advise of the Governor which will translate to landslide victory for all APC candidates.
