Imo assembly confirms Uzodinma’s 18 commission­er nominees

The Imo House of Assembly has confirmed 18 commissioner -nominees for the state as requested by Gov. Hope Uzodinma. This  followed their screening at the committee of the whole, chaired by the Speaker, Mr Kennedy Ibeh (APC- Obowo) on Tuesday in Owerri. Ibeh had on Monday read a letter from the governor requesting that the confirmation of the nominees as commissioners and members of the State Executive Council ( EXCO). The nominees included Prof. Emmanuel Chuk­wuma, Dr Prosper Ohayagha, Prof. Ifunanya Oko­rodudu, Prof. C. Nwosu, Mr Keziechi Og­aziechi, Mr Rex An­unobi, Mrs Love Ine­h, Mrs Ruby Emele and Mr Simon Ebegbulem. Others were Mr Anukwu­em Chukwunyere, Mr Ford Ozurumba, Mr Sta­nley Obidiegwu, Mr Goodluck Nana-Opia, Mrs Ann Dozie, Prof Kenneth Amaeshi, Hajia Rabi Ibrahim, Dr Elias Emedom and Dr Ugorji Ugorji.
