This letter by Mohammad Ali to Nelson Mandela has been sold for N3.7million

This is incredible but absolutely true.

A letter written and signed by Muhammad Ali to Nelson Mendela has been sold for £7,200, approximately N3,708,000.

Ali wrote the letter to Mandela in 1993 consoling him of the death of an anti-apartheid leader.

The letter which was typed on a piece of paper was signed by the boxing legend on “Muhammad Ali in South Africa” stationery was sold in an auction in Devizes, England.

It was auctioned by Andrew Aldridge.

Aldridge said: “It’s fair tosay Mohammad Ali was the greatest sportsman of all time and Nelson Mandela was one of the greatest figures of the last century.”
